END OF MODULE ASSIGNMENT

Throughout this module, "Perspectives: The Natural and Constructed Worlds," much literature has been explored that reflect on the elements within our world - self, family, community - that are a part of the natural, constructed, and cultural environment. By exploring various perspectives, we can understand seemingly conflicting views of the world and become more tolerant of the beliefs and values of other cultures.

ASSIGNMENT: Anthology of Environment Literature (20 marks)

Research and select four pieces of literature that express the theme of "Perspectives: The Natural and Constructed Worlds" in the following way:

- one poem that reflects a personal world
- one poem that reflects the natural world
- one poem that reflects the constructed world
- one First Nations or Metis legend that explains an element of nature

For each piece, write a 4 to 6 sentence explanation of the idea about the environment being expressed and the figurative language devices, word choices, and structure elements that enhance this meaning.

Be sure to keep track of your sources and to write a proper bibliography at the end of your assignment.
